Animal Plate Release - REP Fitness

July 2025

Overview

Early on, we landed on a jungle safari theme to bring the animal prints to life, but the challenge was making it feel playful and polished—not cheesy.

  • To stay grounded, we treated the plates like feature items in a styled environment, using themed props and textures (like faux grass or earth tones) sparingly so they added atmosphere without overpowering the product.

  • Showcasing the uniqueness of each animal print was important, but we didn’t want the visuals to feel chaotic. We kept lighting and camera work consistent across all patterns so the variety felt cohesive.

  • Communicating the plates' durability and low bounce was another layer—we showed them in motion with slow, controlled drops and barbell transitions to subtly highlight build quality without cutting away from the aesthetic focus.

  • We avoided narration and let the visual storytelling carry the weight, balancing between fun pattern close-ups and functional moments that hinted at serious training potential.

Reels/ADs

We created two different reels to serve two distinct purposes. One was a teaser—a fast, energetic introduction that leaned into the jungle safari theme and offered just enough to spark curiosity without showing everything. The second reel focused entirely on visual impact: we filmed the plates slowly rotating as the patterns transitioned seamlessly between zebra, snake, leopard, and more. This reel was all about the wow factor—using smooth motion, color contrast, and ambient sound to create a hypnotic, scroll-stopping effect. Together, they allowed us to build momentum and follow curiosity with a strong visual payoff.
